Void War is an action packed space combat game from Rampant Games. The game features 6 different playable ships, each with unique weapons and movement capability. You can play both single and multiplayer, including team play, regular death match style, and campaign mode. The campaign mode involves a story concerning a mysterious alien craft that has entered inhabited space. Your girlfriend has been caught up in the gold rush to discover this first alien craft. Now you must fight your way through an endless array of enemies to save her and maybe even save the world as we know it!
The custom designed Void War engine confines combat to “void points,” which keeps all the action in a fairly central location. There are many different maps, each with randomly distributed power-ups placed around the board. You will fly through space stations, around drydocks, through asteroid belts, into mining shafts, and even right through the heart of a space junk-yard.
